For A Few Movies More

I’m not sure if there is a more well-known film franchise than James Bond. It is one of the longest running film series in history, marking its 50th Anniversary this year, with its 23rd film, Skyfall to be released in the UK later this month – a more than appropriate occasion for a list. My love for Bond films has existed since time immemorial; I remember when my family first got Optus Vision back in 1996, and the best thing about it was that they had Bond films showing on the movie channel. I remember the first time my Dad showed me the wonders of Bond when I was quite young, let’s say I was 007 years old, and I thought to myself: who was this man? This man who gets to play with the best toys, gets to kiss all the pretty girls, drives the cool cars, beats the baddies – I wanted to be this man, he was my hero.
